I have always wanted to work in a casino also. It is my favorite hobby to go to casinos and gamble so I think it would be cool to work there also.
Unfortunately for me, I am far from the casinos and I have a family so moving is out of the question.
From your background, I would think you would be qualified for:
Tech Support - Work on broken ATM machines, slot machines and casinos.
Security - Work upstairs behind the cameras and try to catch players or even dealers who are cheating.
But my all time favorite position that I would want is "casino host". These are the folks that give out the free rooms and set up limo rides for big time gamblers who drop thousands when they come to stay.
If you are able to move, then visit websites of casinos in your area and look under the "Careers" section.
Good luck! I hope you land the fun job of your dreams.

The other responders gave some good suggestions. One thing to keep in mind if you enjoy casino gambling tho - many casinos don't allow their employees to gamble in their own casino to avoid possible collusion. If you're in an area where that casino is the only game in town, you'll be cutting off your own source of entretainment...

well, i am one of the lucky ones who actually work at a casino. i'm a blackjack dealer, and its awesome fun. i sometimes feel bad though when people lose lots of cash at my tables.... oh well, they knew they were gambling.
as for how i got my job, i simply looked on my casino's website. and noticed that they were looking for new staff. i put in my resume, and a week later i got a call back askin for an interview with a group of like 50 people. after that, they called me back for a 2nd interview, and i was offered a place in a 'blackjack training course' which went for like 4 weeks, and then by the end of that, i graduated, got my casino liscence, and was finally able to start work.
so basically, it takes a lil bit of time. but if you're keen, start inquiring about it. it looks like you have more than enough qualifications towards customer service, etc. so simply ask some of the dealers how you would go about getting a job. or, you can ask the security about how to get a job, if you're interested in that area. or, if they have a website, visit it and search around to see if they have any availiable jobs
as for the positions you can get, you could be a croupier, a security guard, a surveilance person, a cleaner, a chef, cook, waiter, waitress, or could work with the gaming machines.
hope this answer helped somehow, and goodluck!
