Silicone spray is a great glue remover. Just be sure, whatever you use, that you wash it off thoroughly so you are not left with slippery floors.

Try using WD-40 or GooGone. Most floor adhesives are petroleum base, so you must use a petroleum based product to remove them. Use only scratch resistant scrub pads.

I would hold them responsible, but if you want it off before the court date, use glue remover (From a lumber yard) or "Goo-Be-Gone", or "Goof Off", or just some creamy peanut-butter.
(If your tiles are smooth, a razor blade can also be used.)

They should clean up their mess for sure. You bought the product and went through a business so hold them responsible and stick to your guns. Otherwise a little mineral spirits on a clean rag should get it up.
